Many type of product is sales in market for heat of material. Most interest of product is soldering Gun and Glue Gun. We are visit all electro tool shop in Hong Kong and check of function and price.
Hong kong market ( MTR Sham Shui Po station )
We are focus for 3 type heater parts for our project use. First one is traditional type heater for soldering iron. Almost Nichrome wire wound on ceramic pipe. Target heat power range is about 20 to 60W and lifetime is very short and cheap.
Second type is look like Gun design and target heat power range is about 100 to 160W. Inside heater is covered by ceramic and cannot easy to looking heater wire. This heat head is almost made in China and almost under 1 US$ for business price. Few Soldering Gun is using Japanese Kyocera company parts and little bit expensive.
Last type is Glue Gun and target heat power is about 5 to 20W. A ceramic heating element is sandwiched between the electrodes, and electricity is supplied for heating. Since heat generation capacity was small, it took a long time to melt when trying with metal. However, it is an attractive technology in terms of materials cost and safety.
We are making technical sample for marketing. Prototype is high power type and low power type. Fig No,07. This metal Gun is using for emergency response operation and we are making battery drive unit in same time. This unit is support of use in field and we can use over half hour. Fig No,08
