We are research of 3type heater for project of 3D Metal Gun. First one and second one is now still under research operation. This technical report is last type of metal heater.
1. Energy efficiency is the highest but the output power is very low.
2. There are various types of electricity used, and overpower is suppressed by the increase of electrical resistance due to heat generation.
3. The structure is very simple and the power wiring is only switches and fuses.
4. Most cheap cost of parts.
In our lab this type of heater is now not main research operation. The reason is not the technical point but the anxiety of the stability of material purchase. Cheaper parts are on the market by production companies around Hong Kong. Therefore, the environment required for accuracy, special specifications and quality control has been destroyed.
